About Duck Soup Productions

One Person. One Vision. A Lot of Cards.

Duck Soup Productions is a fancy name for one person — and that person is Doug Thornsjo, living and working solo with his cats in a small town in Maine, USA.

Every card deck, bag, journal, and accessory in the store is personally designed by Doug. The making process varies depending on the deck:

• Kickstarter-funded decks are printed in quantities of 1,000 or more by trusted partners in Hong Kong. This produces top-quality decks at the best price — and Doug ships them to you directly.
• Most decks are produced one at a time as you order them, shipping directly from the manufacturer. This makes each deck a genuine collectible — only as many exist in the world as have actually been ordered.

As an example: fewer than 300 copies of the Marvelous Oracle of Oz exist in the world. If you own one, congratulations — you own a genuine rarity.

Want to know more? The best way is through Doug's blogs — here on the store and at www.ducksoup.me. Or reach out directly — he reads every message.
